Application and registration procedures
Application Procedure
International Students are required to submit their completed application
forms, which are available on our website (
https://luarasi-univ.edu.al/lse-uol/
), along with all necessary supporting documents, in the period May to
September 2025. These documents must be in compliance with the guidelines
set forth by Luarasi University and the immigration office.
Any potential international applicant who wishes to apply to one of the

Registration Procedure
The documents that an international student must submit to Luarasi
University are:
Successful applicants must register with the University of London under the academic direction of LSE: Registration deadline: 30th of October. Our team will support you at the premises of Luarasi University through the whole processes and procedures, during the application and registration processes to the University of London under the academic direction of LSE.
Upon receiving the application, Luarasi University will initiate the
process of verifying the authenticity and accuracy of all submitted
documents. This verification is essential to confirm the applicant’s
eligibility for enrollment at the university.
Required Documents:
After the submitted documents have been reviewed and found to be in order,
Luarasi University will issue a Conditional Acceptance Letter. This letter
confirms the student's eligibility to move forward with the registration
process, subject to the payment of the pre-enrollment fee and completion
of the final verification steps.
Prior to the issuance of the official Letter of Acceptance, international
students are required to make a pre-payment of 1,000 euros, which must be
transferred to the designated Luarasi University bank account. This amount
will be deducted from the total tuition fee once the student has completed
the registration process.
The tuition fee for international students is
9,000 euros, which covers the entire academic year.

- Copy of the document issued by the Educational Services Center confirming the recognition of the high school diploma, along with a copy of the grade list (Candidates who have not yet completed the validation process should submit proof of their application to ESC for diploma validation)
- English Certificate of one of the international tests
- Two personal photos
- Authorization form based on the Ministry of Education guidelines

General Admission Criteria for All Programs
- High School Diploma in Albania or abroad (equivalized)
- Average grade of 7 (arithmetic average of the 3 years of high school and the state matura exams
- Knowledge of the English language with certification from one of the international tests
Document Verification
Required Documents:
- A copy of a valid travel document (passport)
- A copy of the High School Diploma along with the transcript of grades, certified with an apostille stamp or legalized by the issuing country
- Proof of English language proficiency through an internationally recognized test certificate
- A recent photo (taken within the last six months), size 47x36mm
- Financial documentation demonstrates the ability to cover living and educational expenses. This must be a certification issued by a second-tier bank (personal or family account) showing a minimum balance of $3,000 per calendar year (12 months).
- A complete bank statement detailing all incoming and outgoing transactions for the past 12 months

Recognition of high school diploma at the center of educational services
International students must also apply at the Albanian Educational Service Center (QSHA) for the recognition of the high school diploma. Application for the recognition and equivalence of the upper secondary education diploma, which corresponds to Level 4 of the Albanian Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework, is carried out by submitting the following documentation:

Application for the recognition and equivalence of the upper secondary education diploma, which corresponds to Level 4 of the Albanian Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework, is carried out by submitting the following documentation:
- The upper secondary education diploma or the official equivalent document issued by the competent institutions in the country of origin that confirms the completion of upper secondary education studies, bearing an apostille stamp or legalization from the country of issuance, notarized (certified as a true copy of the original), and translated into Albanian by licensed translators in the Republic of Albania.
- Transcripts (report cards) for all years of upper secondary education, bearing an apostille stamp or legalization from the country of issuance, notarized (certified as a true copy of the original), and translated into Albanian by licensed translators in the Republic of Albania.
- A document proving that the applicant has passed national exams equivalent to the State Matura exams in the Republic of Albania, bearing an apostille stamp or legalization from the country of issuance, notarized (certified as a true copy of the original), and translated into Albanian by licensed translators in the Republic of Albania.
- A photocopy of the identification document.

Visa application
- International students are required to apply for a "D / ST" visa (student visa for study purposes).
- The visa application must be submitted within 90 days of the intended travel date. Applications will be rejected if the planned travel date is more than 90 days from the date of submission.
- The processing time for visa applications ranges from 15 to 30 days.
- Visa applications are accepted only through the online system, and applicants must ensure they are outside the territory of the Republic of Albania after paying the visa fee.

- A photocopy of a valid travel document (passport)
- Recent photographs (taken within the last 6 months), size 47x36mm
- Proof of appropriate accommodation in Albania, such as a housing certificate or a lease agreement that meets national housing standards
- An official acceptance letter from the host institution
- Evidence of sufficient financial means to cover living expenses for the duration of the stay in Albania
- Proof of language proficiency relevant to the study program, or a certificate of enrollment in a preparatory language course
- Proof of payment of the fees required by the host institution
Application for resident permit
International students wishing to pursue their studies at Luarasi University are required to obtain a Residence Permit.

NOTE: Documents issued in the country of origin must either bear an apostille stamp or be legalized by the country's diplomatic representatives in Albania, in accordance with the applicable agreement.
The submission of forged documents will result in consequences as outlined in the Criminal Code and other applicable laws and regulations.
If there is any suspicion regarding the authenticity of the submitted information, the institution responsible for delivering the educational service and/or Luarasi Univeristy will initiate a verification process. If necessary, the matter will be referred to by the relevant authorities for further investigation.
