The Faculty of Medical Sciences offers integrated studies of the second cycle in pharmacy and dentistry, as well as the bachelor study program in nursing. This faculty aims to prepare and graduate skilled professionals in accordance with the needs and priorities of the country’s health system. Graduates of the Faculty of Medical Sciences will have the appropriate competence to compete not only in the local market, but also in the regional and international market.

 

The professional, scientific and practical training of students is based on programs designed according to the best national and international standards. The curricula offered by these study programs are comparable to the curricula of other European countries. They rely on a series of modern syllabi, as well as all the elements related to the recognition and application of new medical technologies.

 

The mission of the Faculty of Medical Sciences is the best theoretical and practical preparation of nurses, dentists and pharmacists, who must be guided by important values, such as high professionalism, integrity, compassion, competence, honesty, high professional ethics, social responsibility, the spirit of cooperation, human communication with the sick and the community, etc.

The First Cycle Study Program in Nursing guarantees the achievement of a series of objectives that target the appropriate theoretical and practical training of a nurse to compete decently in the local and foreign labor market as well as to successfully face the demands in increasing European standards and best practices. The study program aims to train nurses with the best knowledge for the practice of the profession, for the further deepening of studies in the scientific and professional nursing master’s programs and the proper training for providing a quality and safe service in hospitals, clinics and health centers public and private.
